Aion Overdose

We’ve come a long way—and over the past year, a lot has changed. As new mechanics, upgrades, and combinations were introduced, countless items began to pile up. Over time, the game became increasingly complex, with too many custom materials and layered systems.

As we enter the Ultimate Gears season, we believe it’s the perfect time for a fresh start. Our goal is to simplify and return to a more streamlined experience—bringing the game as close to its default setup as possible.

The Great Reset update has been rescheduled to August 19 to give us more time to complete the necessary cleanup. In the meantime, we’ll continue to share details about upcoming changes to both items and mechanics.

We want to emphasize that only gameplay and mechanics will be reset—not the database. Your accounts, characters, and progress will remain intact and will not be deleted.

Forge of the Nobles Event Extension
The Forge of the Nobles event has been extended until August 18, giving everyone more time to farm materials and complete the event.

Renown Reset
With the map reset and reintroduction of the Hour Glass system, all Renown Levels across all maps will be reset. The item lists in Renown NPCs will also be updated. Be sure to purchase everything you need before August 19.

AP, GP, and Kill Reset
We’re also moving the reset of Abyss Points (AP), Glory Points (GP), and Kill Count to August 19.

• Abyss Points will be converted into Abyss Coins
• Glory Points will be converted into Dias

Items to Be Wiped on August 19
Use or open the following items before August 19. They will be removed from the game, and no compensation will be provided:
